Yes, there are several applications that are incompatible with Incoggo (meaning you can’t run them at the same time Incoggo is Active – if you pause Incoggo, they should all work). Trying to run an incompatible application at the same time as Incoggo may result in unexpected behavior. Here is a list of applications known to be incompatible with Incoggo:
- Cisco AnyConnect
- Charles (Proxy)
- Burp Suite
- Hola VPN
- Cyberghost VPN
- Hide My Ass
- Hotspot Shield
- Private Internet Access
- VPN Unlimited
- Norton Secure VPN
- Roboform (Desktop application)
Aside from the applications listed above, most VPN and Proxy applications (including browser-extension based VPNs and Proxies, including other ‘local proxy’ applications like AdGuard and Little Snitch – and typically any sites / applications you are required to access via VPN or Proxy) generally will be incompatible with Incoggo.
While remote-desktop / RDP applications are compatible with Incoggo, some users have reported compatibility issues with applications like Citrix Viewer / Citrix Workspace. These issues are typically employer-specific (i.e. not problems with apps like Citrix Viewer / Citrix Workspace themselves, but with an IT-Department’s implementation of them).
If you experience any issues with applications not mentioned here, please let us know here.
